Located in Hakuba Goryu, there are plenty of authentic Japanese sights and experiences to be enjoyed within a short walking distance of Hakuba Platinum. Picturesque shrines nestled among cedar trees dot the rice paddies of the Hakuba valley. Authentic dining experiences abound along nearby Route 148, and various tours and activities are easily accessible via a short drive.
Getting Here
Hakuba is easily accessed from Tokyo's two main airports of Narita and Haneda. Take a direct coach from either airport as the easiest option, or catch the bullet train which will involve a couple of extra transfers throughout the trip - a small price to pay if experiencing the world famous "Shinkansen" bullet trains is on your bucket list! Finally, renting a car is a flexible alternative which will open up much more exploration and convenience during your trip. Most car rental companies in the country include English nav devices, and Google Maps works seamlessly for navigating the motorways and public transport systems.
